Claire Nakasue

Claire was born and raised in California and has been back to her familial roots in Hawaii for over 20 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 15 years of experience in multiple areas- elder care and caregiving, end-of-life issues, alcohol/drug abuse recovery, work-related issues and trauma. Claire has a special interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness in healing, use of meditation/mindfulness, compassion and body-based approaches, and grief/loss. Her approach is collaborative and holistic in moving towards wellness goals; embracing mind, body and soul. She believes deeply in everyone’s innate resilience, potential to change and in supporting clients to connect to their brilliance.
In her free time, you can find Claire enjoying time with her partner and friends, immersing in nature, playing in the ocean, engrossed in the latest streaming phenomenon, on the pickle ball court, and traveling.
