Missy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience working in the field of behavioral and mental health. Missy has worked in various levels of care including residential hospitalization, partial hospitalization, school based behavioral health, and outpatient services. Missy’s passion is to serve Hawaii’s youth and their families, but is also experienced in providing services for adults with mental health conditions. Missy’s professional interests include individual and family therapy for children and adolescents with Anxiety Disorders, Depression and Mood Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Eating Disorders. Missy’s strengths lie in her ability to integrate evidence based practices with a “talk story” approach to join with clients who might otherwise be wary of engaging in the therapeutic process.
