Shana Laririt

LCSW

Shana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty years of experience.  She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Salem State University, is Licensed in Hawaii, and has resided on Maui for fifteen years.  Shana’s passion is helping others to build resilience, coping skills, self esteem, and happiness.  She truly believes that everyone can be empowered to deal with all of life’s challenges.


She has experience working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, chronic medical conditions, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, substance use, and serious mental illness.  She enjoys working with Seniors/Kupuna, Adults, and Veterans.  Shana uses a strengths based and solution focused approach to Therapy.  She honors individuality and comes from a person-centered approach.  She uses an empathetic approach to build trust and rapport.  She provides a safe and non-judgemental space to explore emotions and challenges.  She is EMDR trained.  She enjoys advocacy, inspiring change, and problem solving.  


In her free time she enjoys spending time with her Husband, son, and two mini schnauzers.  She loves to swim, hike, read, and explore.
