Sonya has passionately worked in Social Services for the last two decades helping people navigate through significant stressors and heavy experiences. The last fourteen years Sonya has worked as a Licensed Social Worker. Sonya wants to continue to help others navigate through their challenging experiences and to help them return to or get to a place of healthier, compassionate wellbeing. What Sonya is particularly interested in, is working with people to navigate through challenging transitions. Sonya favor a Strengths Based Perspective and she also utilizes Motivational Interviewing. Sonya is honored to have been able to work with adults, older adults, children and families experiencing abuse, domestic violence, trauma, relationship transitions, and chronic illness (diagnosis and treatment).
