Tara Jordan

LCSW

Tara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who completed her graduate degree at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. Tara has worked in a variety of settings, including college counseling, community mental health, and K-12 schools. Her experience includes working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and attachment trauma, and she has a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ folks. Tara uses evidenced-based, psychodynamic, cognitive, and trauma-informed approaches. Her style is strengths-based and collaborative, and she brings both humor and creativity into session. She believes that we all have an innate capacity for change and growth, even if we may be feeling stuck. Therapy can help us to uncover maladaptive patterns or old narratives that may be getting in the way of becoming our best selves. In her free time, Tara enjoys hiking, bodyboarding, art projects, and traveling.
