MALIE CARVALHO
LCSW
Malie, born and raised in HawaiÊ»i, is deeply connected to her roots and is proud to serve the community she loves. Her mission is to help people heal from past trauma, adapt to life’s changes, and manage stress with greater ease. Malie's approach, grounded in connection, resilience, and cultural sensitivity, creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Malie’s approach is compassionate and collaborative. She blends evidence-based care—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practice—with deep cultural understanding to tailor support to each person’s needs. In sessions, she focuses on building trust and an authentic therapeutic relationship, walking alongside clients as they navigate healing, major transitions, or everyday stressors. Her goal is to help clients find clarity, balance, and confidence on their path forward.
