NAELA GATES
LMFT, CSAC
Naela is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Originally from California, She earned her degree in psychology from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University.

Naela focuses on addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and overall mental health. Her experience includes inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, and work with military veterans, during which she has led recovery groups and provided crisis counseling. Naela utilizes evidence-based techniques, incorporating relational psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and focus-centered approaches to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for her clients.

In her free time, Naela enjoys free diving, hiking, yoga, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
